i was trying to lift a marble table top with to people and we dropped it. It broke in to three pieces and were not sure if it could be fixed??????????????????????????

The workmen broke the Italian marble table top in a new bank when they were installing it. It was about 3.5 feet x 7 feet and broken in two clean pieces. It was temporarily glued back together until a replacement could be ordered. The repairs were done by a professional company and whatever glue they used worked well. However, the crack was visible but not badly. You may have some luck if you don’t have to match color and there are not large cracks. Good luck.

Yes, TileLab and several other manufacturer’s like Miracle Shine make protectors that work to protect and seal marble. You do have to reapply them occasionally but they are a real lifesaver when someone spills a beverage or food on the surface because they seal the very porous marble enough to repel whatever was spilled from staining or etching the surface. TileLab can be found at the home improvement centers and you are looking for the “seal and protect” formulation. Miracle Shine is usually sold at stone yards.

We have a set of 3 marble-top tables: 1 coffee table and 2 end tables. We’ve been trying to find dealers or buyers, to purchase either the whole table, or just the marble tops, but have been unsuccessful.

Try a consignment shop, list it in the paper or place an ad on either Craigslist or E-bay.
